Anyone who says they have one life to live must not know how to read a book. Growing up, I wasn’t a great bookaholic but my mum used to read short stories to us before sleep. I was in love with those stories and found it very fascinating. May be that kindled me to unveil this wonder world. Inspired by few in my family & friends, I have got into reading not so heavy topics in the early stages.
Not usually big into the habit of reading or a regular reader still I certainly love Books. As for me, any level of reading has given a significantly strong level of immunity against negativity and many life changing experiences. Yes, books are so powerful that it makes you questioning your current beliefs at times.
So contrary to how this blog used to be, I’d like to introduce “Book Review” as a category in my happy blog. According to me , Reading is fun and is part of my happiness regime. I’m happy to be doing it and guess you too will be.
So, here you go!
Picked up this interesting book for general insight on so-called “Karma” and “Reincarnation”. Never actually remembered where I started it, I flew through it. It’s definitely nothing I have read before. So much so that this book is deduced from facts and validated by events. Karma is reasonated well unlike an explicitly perceived situation in imaginary movies.
It has evidences from New Testament and about Lord Krishna as well as the history found at Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. The author is a pioneer in practical spirituality. She is a proponent of spirituality, Karma, our existence in previous lives.
I have noticed few amazing things about spirituality in it. This book will help you look at your life across spectrum. From Karma to Religion to Spirituality to Self- Healing and so forth. Unarguably, all the readers who wants to know about these topics can enjoy and gain knowledge about spirituality, access to God in a very transparent manner.
Determined to continue forward, every soul in some shape or other always exist, also every soul comes into the World strengthened by victories or weakened by the defeats of its previous life. With all the inconveniences we are what our life is liable to.
For instance, if you fall into a pit , you are not a bad person who deserves to suffer—- you are merely someone who took a wrong step or forgot to wear glasses. The reasons are plentiful and plausible. But the cause and effect chain goes way back deep into your choices. So never rule-out effects. But never expect it.
It reinforces virtues such as love, compassion ,kindness and what we ought to see and look for. It attributes to the fact that Judging others is a kind of blindness and love is a kind of illumination and enlightenment. Bottom line is that karma is not only the combination of action and reaction —- The Cause and Effect. Rather, it’s a neutral sequence of acts, results and consequences.
My favourite phrases in the book :
“To see what’s is in front of one’s nose needs a constant struggle.”
“Never criticise. If you judge people, you have no time to love them”.
“As you have done” it shall be done unto you”
“Come forth into the light of things,
Let Nature be your teacher.”
“An Energy Equation
God will send the bill to you.”
“Luck is a word devoid of sense.
Nothing can exist without a cause.”
“Why stay we on the earth except to grow?”
“Even if you are on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.”
“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”
“Love does not consist in gazing at each other,
But in looking together in the same direction.”
